Where is the WPS PIN on my HP printer?

WPS is a “Wi-Fi Protected Setup” that is necessary for making a connection between your printing devices.  In order to print documents without any hassle, one needs to find ‘WPS Pin’ for HP Printer by reading the user manual of your router to know how the WPS button looks like and where it is put up. And, after you know everything about the WPS button, what you need to do is try to connect your HP Printer using WPS through below-given two methods:

 

Method 1: Connect Using WPS Button

  1. Go to control panel screen of HP Printer 
  2. There to select ‘Wi-Fi protected setup’ press the setting/ wireless button
  3. After that follow the on-screen instructions 
  4. And while doing so, you’ll be encountered with the option where you have to select ‘WPS Button’ on your wireless router 
  5. Once selected, go back to your HP Printer to press ‘Continue’ to establish the wireless connection with your Printer 
  6. That’s it! After the connection is established, your HP printer will start printing.

Method 2: Connect Using WPS PIN

 

    1. Select the ‘Wi-Fi protected setup’ from the control panel screen of HP Printer using the setting/ wireless button.
    2. After that, you’ll be driven to the ‘WPS PIN’ option where you have to click on it to get the WPS Pin code.
    3. Then, for wireless access point access ‘Software or configuration utility’ 
    4. There enter the WPS Pin in the required field.
    5. After that install network printer driver through printer’s HP folder
